Start with the Solutions not the Problems!

It’s far easier to look for and find problems, but that is a fail and not what we do here.

Here’s a trick:

First off Identify What is the problem?

Then write down at least Three well researched and viable solutions and

Choose the most Viable one after looking at all the solutions.

This thinking is based on the early American Space Project needing a pen that wrote in Space.

It took 10 years and $12m in fees to Anderson Consulting to develop a pen that would pretty much write anywhere. Was this the solution? Sure. Was it the best one? Let’s ask the Russians

When they were faced with the same problem, the Russians used a pencil.

This is why going with one solution is not always the smartest (or affordable) choice. Look at all possible solutions then make a decision.
