When they ask for more

Give it to them!

Remember whatever you pay them is not only free but will return at 5x!

You don’t get 5x?

Then you are doing it wrong.

We employ people at a fixed rate and sell their time or service at the money you want to make from them.

So – when you are asked for more – say Yes!

Let them tell you what they want and what they are prepared to do to get it.

If they want a 20% raise – cool. Tell them that their target has gone up 100%

If they increase by 20% then you can only give them 5% of that increase.

Its easy.

Remember – that if people are prepared to do more for more then you should provide them the opportunities to do so.

There is one caveat to this.

You get what you pay for!

So don’t hire cheap. Hire well and hire above market rate.

Remember If they are asking for more money, they are probably already looking for anpther role – so be proactive with your team.

This is important to longevity.
