I’m not a hypocrite and I’m not deleting my feeds!
I recently came across a quote from Thomas Jefferson “ The man who reads nothing at all is better educated than the man who reads nothing but newspapers.”
The premise is that we read and even believe what the mass media giants want us too.
This is a huge problem and it’s starting to extinguish individualism.
In order to succeed we need to be different and be individuals.
If we all are reading, swiping, liking and tagging from the same pool then I guess as a race we going to drown.
The common terminology is “Fake News” – but like Jefferson said, if we are only getting our info from one source then we have a problem.
So as I said above, I am not leaving Social Media or closing my feeds (hell you may have received this post because of Social Media) I am just saying that we can’t allow it to be the only source of information.
The same applies to business; we can’t just get our supplies from one place, our insights or our guidence
