Put it in reverse

We all have ideas and know what we want to do.

Most of us fail on the journey to get there.

Is this because we weren’t good enough or didn’t know how to do it?

It is more often than not the later.

I knew someone who would pick up a book and read the last few pages. If the end intrigued them they would then read it. If not, tossed.

Try start at the end – think of a Quentin Tarantino movie. See the ending clearly and then work out in reverse how to get there.

If you take it backwards one step at a time by the time you get to where you are now you have a clear and laid out plan of how to achieve the end goal.
