This is not a pageant.
It’s business.
So you don’t need to win the congeniality award. Being a leader means making the tough choices.
No one ever said running a business was easy. Equally you don’t have to be liked by everyone. There is a difference between being liked and being respected.
Aim for the later.
Making the hard but necessary decisions are what is required of you.
Just to clarify, don’t go looking to be hated (that’s narcissistic) look to be the person that makes the right decisions, no matter how difficult, to get shit done!
