A thirst for learning!
Successful people have an insatiable thirst for learning – not just reading books – but taking in knowledge from everywhere and everyone.
So; always be learning – pay attention to everyone and all around you.
the smartest person in the room is the one that talks the least – in fact probably only asks questions rather than volunteers info.
Being in the presence of influential and successful people is not enough. You need to “mine the gold” from the room. You need to extract the nuggets of excellence as opposed to just be present.
If you don’t learn something new everyday have you truly lived that day?
To the successful the answer is no. In fact they need to earn multiple things in a day.
