Seem obvious right?
Yet so many of us don’t actually learn every single day!
Education is not necessarily only what we learn at school or university, We must never stop learning. Every day is wasted if we don’t learn something.
Lessons aren’t always a positive outcome either. Remember this entire blog is based on correcting or turning failure into success. Believe me, those are hard lessons.
What we need to realise is that we can learn from people around us, experiences, jobs, love and life. Books are just the tools that deliver knowledge, life is the vehicle where we actually learn and deliver results.
I have spoken about “time” before (https://deliaf.blog/time-is-literally-money/) and this is not an excuse not to learn. You don’t have to read an entire book, you don’t have to watch a Ted talk (although these are really good for furthering your knowledge) but you do need to learn something, no matter how big or small, every single day.
I like to work in shared office space, I learn so much just by listening to the chatter around me, I have even got some ideas from some of these conversations. I read motivational posts and listen to or watch the News.
This is all learning. Where the real failure comes in, is when you learn something and don’t apply it! That is a travesty.
We need to learn from both success and failure and they are of equal importance.
Just read this blog every day and you will learn something (I hope) and if not let me know so I too can learn.
