You need to have a constant never ending commitment to growth!
In everything you do and everything that you want to do – you need to have growth in mind.
The other thing is direction and an end-point. Without a clearly defined goal you are lost and so is your team.
People look for leaders, they make their decisions on companies that they want to work for based on the leadership.
People assess both the success and goals of the leaders when making their choices of accepting an offer at the company.
So – in order to ensure that you have a team to lead, make sure you have a goal and the growth plan clearly laid out to get there.
