You have to have a higher purpose for your people to live for.
There needs to be a vision. There needs to be a purpose that your team wants to strive to achieve.
This mission or purpose needs to be clear and clearly communicated. You need to galvanise those around you so that they want to work towards this goal.
If you can get people excited about this single cause or purpose you will get them motivated to work as hard as possible to achieve it.
By making them believe in what you are doing and what you are saying you will be kicking them into high gear and increasing the productivity (and morale) of the company too.
This type of motivation is also honest as it is what you do and what the company does and in such what the team will want to do.
