We all seek to try to find balance in our lives.
This is a waste of time.
The problem is that in life nothing is predictable so therefore how do you try and strive to balance something that is continually changing, moving and adapting.
Can you see that if you accept the fact that as long as you’re focused or are prepared for whatever changes may come at you both personally and in business then you are well set to find that balance that you seek.
Balance is the art of everything being in Harmony.
2020 should’ve taught you that if nothing else, harmony is the last thing that we have in our lives.
As a leader, your role is to ensure that the best possible allocation of time and resources is focused on the point that needs the most attention.
If you are sitting behind your desk and have a heart attack, do you get up and go and deliver a board presentation?
No, you hope that an ambulance arrives in time to get you to the hospital so that you can survive and recover.
Does any business plan for this? What is the balance? Do you see there is no such thing.
The best you can possibly strive for is to ensure that you have a good grip on everything that you try and make time for everything and then at the end of the day you hope that you’ve achieved the important things so that you can afford a bit of time for some “work life balance.”
