We all have skills. Some are more honed than others but they are there none the less.
The key to mastering them however is to master the basic skills that help enhance your skills.
Let’s say you are a runner. The start of the race is the most important part of the race – you see if you slow out the blocks you could lose by a split second.
So by practicing over and over again just this one skill you will be setting yourself up for mastering your skill.
This is no different in business. Take any job in any business – the key to being the best is to master and continue to hone the core skills that you need to develop the long term wins.
Being a “jack-of-all-trades” is ok for a lot of people but it is not what winners are. Winners are specialists and more so they are the best at what they do.
