Downshifting or shutting off.

We all experience stress – it is actually good for us in short boosts – our bodies are designed to fire up against stress.

However – continued and sustained stress is not good for us.

It will kill you!

So, as with everything in life, moderation is the call of the day.

However – I mentioned a small amount of stress is good – so planned down time, just like machine maintenance is critical for longevity.

These can be daily things like a meditation or a weekend away with a total external world detox!

This only works if you shut-off though – lying on a bed for a quick nap is great – but with your phone in your hand is not gonna cut it!
