We often make the mistake of thinking those around us are holding us back.
It’s actually the opposite. You see if we didn’t have people around us that actually care about us and provide insightful and honest feedback we would just go off at full speed, no handbrake.
Where at first this would seem like growth – ultimately we would come crashing back down.
Without people being supportive (as opposed to the perception of holding us back) we would just float off into the big blue beyond and be lost.
Look around you, do you have people that actually care and have your back?
If you do – tell them you appreciate them; if not you need to find some!
