Yip – not saying what you should or telling someone what they need to hear is worse sometimes than actually speaking.
Think about the acknowledgement you have craved in the past from someone you respect, a parent or a boss.
What would have happened if you had heard those words?
So the lesson is that you can write or plan the most powerful and motivational speech in the world; if you don’t actually deliver it for the intended audience, it is useless.
So remember- you need to to actually communicate. Tell someone how special they are, hug your kid and tell him how awesome he is.
This will do unbelievable things for that person.
