Winning is an all the time thing.
We don’t try win sometimes – we try to win all the time. Right?
If you disagree, this is not the post for you.
No one remembers who came second in any event.
No one wakes up in the morning and says “I think I will be mediocre today!”
If you are not on your A game every day, all the time, then you are not in the game.
I am not a fan of the new way kids at schools are encouraged to play and that the game is the winner not the team.
Here’s a newsflash for all those parents that advocate for this:
Do you remember coming second in an interview and getting the job?
No? Well that’s because it never happens.
You have to have an in-it-to-win-it mentality and bring your best every single day.
Off time is when you sleep.
Even then, you don’t want to lose.
Trying your best is great, but again its not going to bring home the deal. You have to be the best.
This is a Monday kick in the pants post – go out there and own the week.
