When you are asked to do something by your employer; say yes.
Not because you have time – say yes but ask which of the projects you should push out or client deliverables you should put on hold to do what they require.
This way you are showing them you are willing but that it comes at a price.
They will probably then not give you the requested task – this works with clients too – try it!
