Seeing I spoke about achieveing goals yesterday and how the mind is so important in doing so, I thought I would put a simple playbook down today:
To achieve a goal the secret is, do it slowly.
The old question: “How do you eat an elephant”?
Answer: “One bite at a time”!
This is so important in our lives.
Most of our goals or dreams are big, this in turn, makes them seem un-achievable.
So what do we do?
Give up?
This is easier right?
Here is a simple playbook:
- Identify what the goal really is.
- Set a (realistic) timeline to achieving it. Sometimes deadlines are thrust upon us but for this exercise lets say its up to us to choose.
- Work out all the things that you will need to get or do to reach this goal, the components.
- Work out how often and the frequency needed to do this and then,
- Do it!
Although these are simple and easy to understand more often than not people get stuck between points 3 and 4.
I am here to help if you need it – book a session with me and I will help you figure this out and get you on your journey to success.
